Christina Morton, APR is an accredited and award-winning public relations professional. Her emphasis is in media relations, social media and community relations.

When it comes to pitching stories to the ever decreasing pool of journalists and the ever increasing number of “news” outlets, Christina is fearless and relentless in pursuing stories and getting the correct message out in a timely manner.

Her previous work includes successfully managing national media relations and community relations campaigns in key markets across the United States for First Watch Restaurants, Inc. She also helped lead the social media strategy for Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Florida, and was part of the grand opening media relations team for Nemours Children’s Hospital in 2012.

Christina currently serves as a 2019 officer for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) District Council, a national committee, and as immediate past chair of the PRSA Sunshine District, a statewide board. She also previously served as president of the Orlando Regional Chapter of PRSA; is a member of the Orlando Economic Partnership’s (OEP) Young Professionals Advisory Council; and is a mentor and planning committee member for the OEP’s iGRO program. In 2013, she received a local Image Award and Award of Distinction from the Orlando Area Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) for her work, and in 2015, earned an Image Award from FPRA as well as a Radiance Award from PRSA Sunshine.

Christina graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and political science. She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 93.
